Official: Milan vs. Juventus starting XIs – four changes made from Spezia loss

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has made a number of changes to his starting line-up for the game against Juventus compared to the team that lost to Spezia on Monday night.

Mike Maignan will be the goalkeeper for the Rossoneri with Davide Calabria returning as the right-back for his first start in months. Pierre Kalulu retains his place at centre-back alongside the returning Alessio Romagnoli, while Theo Hernandez is at left-back.

Sandro Tonali is back from suspension to take up a place in the double pivot again with Rade Krunic getting the nod as well over Tiemoue Bakayoko. In attack, Junior Messias and the in-form Rafael Leao will occupy the wings with Brahim Diaz the playmaker and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who leads the line.

Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Tonali, Krunic; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Ibrahimovic.

Bench: Tatarusanu, Mirante, Florenzi, Gabbia, Bakayoko, Bennacer, Saelemaekers, Rebic, Maldini, Giroud.

Official Juventus XI (4-2-3-1): Szczesny; De Sciglio, Rugani, Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Bentancur, Locatelli; Cuadrado, Dybala, McKennie; Morata.

Bench: Pinsoglio, Perin, Danilo, Pellegrini, De Ligt, Bernardeschi, Rabiot, Arthur, Kulusevski, Kean, Kaio Jorge, Akè.

  1. I am really fed up with Pioli’s obsession with Krunic who is a Seria B level player. I don’t really get what he sees in him!

  2. I dont know if anyone has ever brought it up but, why not try Rebic as a right winger?? It’s crazy to think that both pur best wingers are Left wingers and we never tried playing both of them
