Official: Milan name 23-man squad for Lille trip – Romagnoli included despite injury fears

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has named his 23-man squad for the crucial Europa League group stage clash against Lille.

Pioli won’t be able to make the journey with his squad as he is recovering from Coronavirus, while he will be unable to call upon forward trio Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Rafael Leao and Alexis Saelemaekers as all three are injured, so he will be forced into some changes.

Sky are reporting that Pioli is set to make five changes to his starting XI for what will be a vital game against the team currently topping the group, with Romagnoli set to miss out due to a muscle issue.

Below is the 23-man squad that he has named, and Romagnoli is clearly deemed fit enough for a spot on the bench…

A. Donnarumma, G. Donnarumma, Tătărușanu.

DEFENDERS

MIDFIELDERS
