Official: Milan vs. Atalanta starting XIs – Meite starts over Brahim Diaz; new signings make the bench

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has chosen to play Soualiho Meite in the advanced midfield role for the game against Atalanta as was rumoured.

The back four in front of Gianluigi Donnarumma consists of Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Simon Kjaer and Theo, with Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali the double pivot. Samu Castillejo, Soualiho Meite and Rafael Leao are the trio behind centre-forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

There are five players missing for the game at San Siro tonight due to injuries and COVID-19: Ismael Bennacer, Matteo Gabbia, Alessio Romagnoli, Alexis Saelemaekers and Hakan Calhanoglu.
