Official: Pioli names 18-man squad for Porto game – Rebic out but Bakayoko returns

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has named his squad list for tomorrow night’s Champions League group stage game against Porto.

Milan have left themselves with a tough job to do if they are to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition having lost their first two group games against Liverpool and Atletico Madrid. The first was a 3-2 loss at Anfield having led at half-time and the second was at San Siro and saw a dodgy red card and an even more dodgy penalty gave the Spaniards three points.

Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez, Brahim Diaz, Alessandro Florenzi and the disqualified Franck Kessie are all certain to miss the game, but the good news is that Tiemoue Bakayoko has returned to the squad, though Ante Rebic misses out.

Below are the 18 players who have been called up for the game…

Goalkeepers: Jungdal, Tătărușanu.

Defenders: Ballo-Touré, Calabria, Gabbia, Kalulu, Kjær, Romagnoli, Tomori.

Midfielders: Bakayoko, Bennacer, Krunić, Saelemaekers, Tonali.

Forwards: Giroud, Ibrahimović, Leão, Maldini.
