Official: Pioli names 23-man squad for Milan-Roma – Calhanoglu recovers; Donnarumma out

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has named his 23-man squad for Monday night’s home game against Roma.

Milan will be looking to make it five wins from their opening five Serie A games of the season when they welcome Roma to San Siro on Monday night.

Pioli was dealt a late blow by the news that both Gianluigi Donnarumma and Jens Petter Hauge will miss the game having tested positive for Coronavirus, although both are asymptomatic and are recovering at home as per the protocol.

There is some positive news to digest too though, as playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu has been deemed fit enough to start the game after recovering from a sprained ankle, with suggestions in the media that he could even start.

Below are the players that have been summoned by Pioli…

A. Donnarumma, Jungdal, Tătărușanu.

DEFENDERS

MIDFIELDERS
