Official: Spezia vs. Milan starting XIs – Rebic out with injury as Kjaer and Bennacer return

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has recalled Simon Kjaer to the starting XI for tonight’s game against Spezia, as well as Ismael Bennacer and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Milan head to La Spezia knowing that a win would see them keep top spot ahead of the following weekend’s derby against Inter, and he will have an almost fully-fit squad.

Head coach Stefano Pioli will have to do without the suspended Davide Calabria and the injured duo of Brahim Diaz and Daniel Maldini for the trip to Liguria, while Ante Rebic is also injured due to a knee problem.

At right-back will be Diogo Dalot, with the rest of the defence in front of Gianluigi Donnarumma composed of Fikayo Tomori, alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez.

Bennacer returns to the midfield double pivot alongside Franck Kessie, while from right to left the forwards will be Alexis Saelemakers, Hakan Calhanoglu and Leao behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
