Olivier Giroud has returned to the matchday squad for tonight’s game against Napoli, while Theo Hernandez has also been included.
Milan still have a lot of injuries to take into consideration when naming the squad for the game with Simon Kjaer, Davide Calabria, Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao all not fit enough to play against the Neapolitans.
Meanwhile, full-back Theo Hernandez has been struggling with fever all week and did not train with the team on Saturday. The final decision will be taken today but he has been included in the squad by Pioli which suggests that he might have improved a bit in terms of his condition.
Below are the 22 players that Pioli has called up for the game against Luciano Spalletti’s side, as confirmed by the official website…
Goalkeepers: Maignan, Mirante, Tătărușanu.
Defenders: Ballo-Touré, Conti, Florenzi, Gabbia, Hernández, Kalulu, Romagnoli, Tomori.
Midfielders: Bakayoko, Bennacer, Díaz, Kessie, Krunić, Messias, Saelemaekers, Tonali.
Forwards: Giroud, Ibrahimović, Maldini.
