AC Milan have switched midfield targets and are now looking to sign Jean Onana from Bordeaux in a cut-price deal, a report claims.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals the background on Onana including a very interesting crossroads involving Christophe Galtier.

Galtier was the head coach at Lille when Onana shifted from the B-Team to the senior team, but his opportunities there were limited due to the fact a certain Renato Sanches was established in the rotations, the same player that Galtier snatched from under Milan’s noses to take him to PSG.
Onana had a positive season for Bordeaux last season in what was a difficult campaign overall, often appearing in the same starting line-up as Yacine Adli who is waiting for him at the Rossoneri.
If the deal with Bordeaux goes through, Onana will be the seventh player to wear the Rossoneri after leaving from Ligue 1 since Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara took over the director roles.
From Rafael Leao to Mike Maignan, Milan are looking to extract at least one jewel per season from the French league and this season it could be Onana joining Adli.

Onana is just not up to Milan’s standards.
Waste of time and money
