Sky: Onana’s agents in France today as Milan hope to close €5-6m signing

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are pushing hard to sign Jean Onana from Bordeaux and his agents are at work to find an agreement too, according to a report.

According to Alessandro Sugoni of Sky (via MilanNews), today could be very important for the outcome of the negotiations over Onana, who now seems to be the number one midfield target for Milan after links with countless other names.

The agents of the 22-year-old will be in France to try to definitively close the operation. There are two options for Milan: a loan with option to buy deal for Onana or an outright purchase for €5-6m.

What could also benefit Milan is the economic situation of Les Girondins, who need to sell players given the financial difficulties that they are currently battling. They also currently play in Ligue 2, so the player himself is likely to push to play in the top flight once again.

  1. Never seen him play. Is he any good? Why is he still playing for Bordeaux in the French 2nd division, after they got relegated if he is good and can be had for 5,6 mil?
On the YT highlights he looks decent, Kessie-like defensively, with better skills on the ball

  2. He still have room to growth due to young age 22, not bad choice and better than bakayoko , we need to terminate loan bakayoko to clear room on midfield
