Franco Ordine believes that AC Milan must look at their city rivals Inter as an example to take some important lessons from.
It would be fair to say things haven’t exactly gone to plan for Inter over the past few weeks. After falling short in the Scudetto battle with Napoli, they were walloped 5-0 by PSG in the Champions League final, and then exited in Club World Cup in the last 16 against Fluminense.

That shock result against the Brazilians seemed to finally explode the powder keg. Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Calhanoglu exchanged a war of words, and now there is speculation about multiple stars leaving, from Calhanoglu to Denzel Dumfries.
Ordine senses an opportunity
Ordine published his usual weekly column for MilanNews and in it he dedicated part of it to events among the Inter ranks since that Champions League final defeat.
“It is inevitable to start from what happened at Inter after the elimination from the Club World Cup, thanks to the feat of Fluminense led by Thiago Silva who dedicated the win to the Milan fans and talked about the phone call with Allegri to get tips on how to face the Nerazzurri,” he said.
“It is inevitable because lessons that must be taken into account come from that experience. The first: behind the scenes, and in particular behind the fairytale story of the Nerazzurri media and social media, there were feelings brewing that were different from those credited as having exploded on the occasion of the terrifying streak of defeats, between the league, the Champions League and the American World Cup.
“It is a sequence that will leave traces. Probably keeping a lid on the internal tensions, there was the relationship between the team and Simone Inzaghi. Hence the key passage to the next Milan.
“I have the impression that this must become the first objective of the Livorno coach, beyond the strategic choices. He must, with the help of Tare and some old but charismatic exponents (Modric for example), build a healthy environment, a virtuous dressing room and a climate that leads to some results instead of cultivating one’s ego.
“More than the beauty of the football exhibited, the internal climate will count. The youth of the team can help in this sense. In the recent history of Milan, the one formed by Ancelotti had exactly these characteristics: they are decisive issues to overcome frictions that will exist, jealousies that will intervene, torments that will come to light, difficulties in the face of some unexpected setback.”

They will save from relegation and can still fight for CL spot in my opinion. But get scudetto will be very hard for them
Well, the one thing I’m sure is that we never got to the stage of internal locker heads among players. There seemed to be something with Calabria last two seasons, but there has always been unity. If at all, it would be unity against the coach (Fonseca and Concecao).
Anyway, I see Hakan still has his traitor spots on him. Now Inter wants to get rid of him.

Well the equivalent would have been Inter taking back Mancini as their coach after prior overrated success. Inter is still ahead of us by miles in terms of organisation and squad. As a fan I can help but enjoy their demise but as an organization, ket’s not watch our neighbors, instead put our heads down and work on us.
