Pellegatti: Milan consider €44m Chelsea man the ‘dream’ target – operation ‘very difficult’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have not yet given up on their dream of signing Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea this summer, according to a report.

The well-known journalist Carlo Pellegatti spoke on his YouTube channel (via MilanLive) about Milan’s search for a new playmaker and took stock of the various options. He confirmed that Nikola Vlasic of CSKA Moscow is a profile the management are interested in, Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos could be an opportunity and RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer is a complicated target.

There is only one ‘dream’ target even though it will be a ‘very difficult’ operation: Ziyech of Chelsea. He is the player who most intrigues and fascinates, because he can play as an attacking midfielder and on the right wing.

Milan are monitoring him waiting for developments at Chelsea. To know his future we will have to wait until August, when the Rossoneri club will be able to take advantage of opportunities.

Back in February of last year, it was announced that Ajax and Chelsea had reached an agreement for the transfer of Ziyech for a fee of €40m, potentially increasing to a maximum of €44m when including bonuses (via Wikipedia).
