CM: Torino boss welcomes reunion with striker but has concerns over Milan’s proposed formula

The proposed double operation that would see AC Milan buy Pietro Pellegri from Monaco and then loan him to Torino is under threat, a report claims.

Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews) reported last night that Milan are close to buying Pellegri from Monaco for a fee of €4m, getting a discount on the previously agreed €6m, and he will then be sent out on a six-month loan to Torino.

Calciomercato.com are reporting that Pellegri is Torino’s number one target to reinforce the attack and while his eventual arrival would make their head coach Ivan Juric happy, he is not so keen on the idea that the 21-year-old will arrive via a dry loan formula as he would prefer the Granata to secure an option to buy.

Juric therefore appears willing to bet strongly on Pellegri and it is perhaps no surprise given he is the manager that first launched him in Serie A when he was not even 16 years old back in his time at Genoa.
