Photo: Florenzi sends message on social media after successful knee surgery

Alessandro Florenzi has thanked those involved in making his knee operation a successful one with a message on social media.

Milan have confirmed that Florenzi underwent an operation today that was carried out by Professor Pier Paolo Mariani in the presence of Club doctor Lucio Genesio at the Villa Stuart Clinic in Rome. The arthroscopic operation was carried out to correct a partial tear to the medial meniscus in his left knee, with the estimated recovery time around 30 days.

The Rossoneri full-back spoke on Twitter to reassure the fans and thank them for the affection.

“I can’t help but think that everything is evolving. See you soon in the usual place. You all arrived… I hug you tightly!”
