Photos: Milan players react to win over Crotone on social media – “The road is the right one”

AC Milan got the job done on Sunday as they ended up comfortably beating Crotone despite a number of injury absences.

It wasn’t quite the thriller that Thursday’s 3-2 victory against Bodo/Glimt was, but ultimately Franck Kessie’s penalty and Brahim Diaz’s close-range finish were enough to make it two wins from two to begin the 2020-21 Serie A season and four from four in all competitions.

Milan went into the game without Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Leo Duarte due to Coronavirus as well as the injured trio of Mateo Musacchio, Alessio Romagnoli and Andrea Conti, so getting the three points in any way possible was the main priority.

Ante Rebic did come off with a dislocated elbow but the signs are positive that he will miss only one game.

Below are the reactions of the players on social media after the win…

Donnarumma: “Two from two in Serie A. Let’s carry on.”

Calabria: “We return from Crotone with 3 points. The road is the right one, let’s go on!”

Theo Hernandez: “Good teamwork, let’s keep it up.”

Kessie: “Well done guys! Important away win! Happy with the goal! Let’s go on like this!”

Bennacer: “+3 points ✔️ Focus on the next match.”
