It was another successful night for AC Milan on Thursday as they racked up a win against Sparta Praha to finish top of their Europa League group.
Although they made 10 changes to the starting XI that beat Sampdoria at the weekend, Milan got the job done by beating their Czech opponents 1-0.
Jens Petter Hauge netted his third goal in four games and his fourth for the club in total as he gave his side the lead, and thanks to a red card for the home side late on the result was never really in grave doubt, though Ciprian Tatarusanu did make a couple of smart saves.
The result – with Celtic’s simultaneous win over Lille – means that Milan top Group H and will in theory now get an easier draw in the Round of 32.
