Stefano Pioli gave something back to the supporters at Milanello after an interaction with a fan that will live long in the memory.
Milan fan Stefano Verbania took to X on Tuesday to express his glee at having met with Pioli at Milanello.
He was at the training ground thanks to an invitation from the coach himself. It was clearly an incredible occasion for Verbania as he posted an emotional message on social media, along with a picture of him and Pioli.
“Thank you @acmilan and especially Mr Pioli who sent me to Milanello, making a day I dreamt of my whole life possible. Special thanks also to @BandinelliLaura and @Aldito11 who made this dream possible. Now I’m on a cloud and I’m not coming down anymore,” he wrote.
Milan were preparing for Friday’s Serie A match against Lazio which promises to be a tough contest at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Rossoneri only managed to draw against Atalanta, having lost against Monza and Stade Rennes in the two games prior. It would do Pioli no favours if his team went four matches without a victory, even if the loss against Rennes was part of a two-legged Europa League tie that Milan won.
