AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is thinking of making various changes to the starting line-up that will face Monza compared to the team that beat Hellas Verona, a report claims.
As reported by Sky’s Manuele Baiocchini (via MilanNews), Pioli is thinking of some line-up changes in view of Saturday’s match against Monza. Ante Rebic will most likely play from the start, but it remains to be understood if he will play as a winger instead of Rafael Leao or a as a centre-forward.

The intention of the Rossoneri coach is to also send Divock Origi onto the field, who played 45 minutes against Verona which is the most he has managed in a single game since he arrived, but again it is not clear whether he will play alongside Rebic or not.
There are also possible changes to come in defence and midfield. Simon Kjaer – who has now fully recovered – could return to the starting XI after his period out injured, while in the middle of the field there could also be room for Tommaso Pobega.

Pobega must not put his feet as a starter in this Milan. he remembers me the quality of players we had during 2015-2017 period. He has no place in that milan i don’t know how he had been kept beyond the summer mercato
Is this play or what kind of play is this. Pobega is multitalented player. He deserves to play every match
This dude is funny criticizing Pobega like that, Obviously you never saw his last three matches for milan
A 3-4-3 formation with
Leao – Rebic – Origi at attack would be awesome I wish Pioli tries that .
I too think that neither Krunic nor Pobega should be considered for starting lineup. They can perhaps be used in force-majeure situations or when we need some fresh legs towards the end of the game. It is clear to me that neither have the required quality to be starters.
1. So how do you expect them to perform in force majeure situations if they don’t play enough minutes?
2. You really believe Pobega who was a starter for Torino last season is not good enough to play vs newly promoted Monza?
Do you people even think through your posts or you just wanna criticise?
Leao needs some rest
We can’t field the same player every time, their blood will become like water 😄….
Pobega and Krunic are surely not the same level as Bennacer and Tonali , but they can contribute a lot and they have proven it, especially Pobega…
I’m all for rotation but Pioli can’t underestimate Monza who just beat Udinese in Coppa Italia.
This is Milan chance to get three points and sit at the top while Roma, Napoli, Atalanta, Inter, Fiorentina, and Lazio are beating each other ass.
I expect the lineup will be mostly the usual starters. After Milan scored 2 goals, Pioli could sub some players to prepare against Zagreb.
I agree with what you have said ,start basically with the same team ,and if you are 2 goals to the good ,then use subs ..It should be a win for us ,but we can’t underestimate the opposition….This is just my opinion .
I trust in pioli ,he is one of the top managers in football .
We have a great team ,and I believe we can win the scuddeto again this season .
Yeah,I sample your sentiment.
No, there is no room for Pobega in this midfield. He’s too slow. Maybe they can get away with it against Monza, but I’d rather see Vrancx get a shot.

Bakayoko can play this weekend match.
Thiaw, Vrankxx, adli, Origi, Rebic.. throw them all in. If they struggle, make subs after 45 mins.
Semua pemain Milan adalah the best
its about rotation. Dont play all the second string all together, play one one week, another the next, bring one on 60 mins-ish etc.
Pobega can start alongside Tonali. Vrancx can start with Bennacer. Krunic can always replace the AMC if we ned to control the game later on. Its all about balance.
I still want to see more of Adli though.
Need to rotate considering must-win games in the champions league. Against Dynamo Zagreb away, we need fresh legs and minds…
