Pioli responds to idea of Chaka Traore getting a call-up after hat-trick for Primavera

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has admitted that the management are closely following the development of Chaka Traore after he scored a hat-trick for the Primavera.

Milan Primavera played against Udinese on Saturday afternoon and thanks to Chaka Traore, they secured all three points. The youngster spared Ignazio Abate’s men from disappointment as they ran out 3-2 victors away from home.

The win means Milan are now on 12 points after eight games in the league, which is far from where they want to be but it must be mentioned that have done well in UEFA Youth League, where Traore got an assist in the recent 3-1 victory over Chelsea showing the level he is at.

Pioli spoke during his press conference after the win over Hellas Verona and he spoke about the talent of the Primavera – Traore – and if he might be close to a sniff of the first team.

“We know Chaka Traorè, I didn’t see yesterday’s goals, he is doing important things as well as the whole of the Primavera and we are following him with interest,” he said (via Calciomercato.com).

  1. Seen all Primavera-games so far this season, and Traore is far to inconsistent. Sometimes lazy and uninterested, sometimes very good.

  2. Primavera level is much much lower than that of Serie A these days. I saw a few games and tbh it’s not up to scratch. He’s also very lightweight, Serie A will eat him up

  3. Many Club want buy Leao please do not sell him at any cost. He’s young playmaker, future Milan player who could being back the former glory of seven time European champion. DO NOT SELL HIM

  4. If there’s a primavera player that I want on the first team is Coubis. The kid look solid and can be a RB or CB. Traore is good, but too inconsistent, just like Leao when he just came to Milan.
