News emerged last night that Gian Piero Gasperini had renewed his contract with Atalanta until 2024, continuing his project with the club.
According to a report from TMW, Gasperini will earn €3.5m net per season plus bonuses for extending his deal which constitutes a pay rise from the previous amount and makes him the fourth-highest paid coach in Serie A.
Max Allegri and Jose Mourinho are the joint-top as they each receive €7m net per year, followed by Simone Inzaghi who gets €4m net from Inter. Then, after Gasperini comes Milan boss Stefano Pioli who is in fifth place with €3.2m after he renewed his deal last week.
There’s no doubt that Pioli has done a tremendous job with Milan since he arrived in October of 2019, turning a very negative situation into a very good one. The renewal, therefore, was well-deserved. The same can be said for Gasperini too for the job he has done at Atalanta.

Great job taking a list with simple information and presenting it in the most indigestible form. Why are journalists so obsessed with turning readable data into jumbled paragraphs?
