AC Milan were made to work incredibly hard by Torino on Saturday night, but they managed to emerge with a 3-2 victory.

After a bad start to the game, Strahinja Pavlovic produced a stunning goal out of nowhere to put Milan ahead, but Simeone equalised not long after. Adrien Rabiot and Youssouf Fofana netted minutes apart to put the Rossoneri 3-1 up, before Vlasic’s late penalty made it a nervy finish.

Nonetheless, Massimiliano Allegri’s side held on for an important three points that sends them back above Napoli and five behind Inter for the time being. Crucially, Juventus’ draw with Sassuolo means fifth place is nine points away.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport has their ratings from the game, starting with the team’s overall performance and the management of Allegri, both of which earned a score of 7 out of 10. The best player in a Milan shirt was Rabiot in their eyes, and he was awarded an 8.

The other impressive performances came from Mike Maignan, Youssouf Fofana and Zachary Athekame, all of whom were given a 7. Luka Modric got half a point more than them with another dominant midfield display.

Strahinja Pavlvic, Davide Bartesaghi and Samuele Ricci got a 6.5, while Koni De Winter, Alexis Saelemaekers, Christian Pulisic and Christopher Nkunku got a pass. Fikayo Tomori (5.5) and Niclas Füllkrug (5) both struggled.

Tuttosport meanwhile handed out scores of 7 to Fofana and Modric, with 6.5s going to Athekame, Pavlovic and Rabiot. The rest got passing grades but for Tomori (5.5), De Winter (5.5) and Füllkrug (4.5). Allegri was given a 6.5 for his handling of the game.
