PM: Milan targeting Athletico Paraense winger but club don’t want to sell

By Oliver Fisher -

A new profile has emerged as a potential reinforcement for the wing in the form of Athletico Paraense’s Iago Andrè Pires de Oliveira, a report claims.

It has been reported by several sources that Milan are in the market for a versatile attacking player who can cover numerous positions across the forward line, and PianetaMilan suggest that the club could be dipping back into the Brazilian market.

Iago came through the academy system at Paraense and is just 18 years old, having joined when he was 15. The outlet claims that he possesses speed and technique, and is very good in one-on-one situations.

He has excellent crossing ability and provides an end product by chipping in with goals and assists, and can play as either a right winger, left winger or playmaker.

In addition, Iago has made several appearances for the Brazilian U17 national team. Milan are very interested in the teenager but at the moment Paraense do not want to sell and would like to keep Iago for at least another 2 years, but if a high offer were to arrive they could change their mind.
