AC Milan’s interest in Roma striker Edin Dzeko has been reported by yet another source as the story continues to gather momentum.
According to what is being reported by PianetaMilan, the track that leads to Dzeko is confirmed. The Bosnia international is under contract until 2022 with Roma and while he is 35 years of age he could be a useful reinforcement for the attacking department given his experience in the Champions League.
At the moment it is only an idea given that there has been no official contact with Roma, but the situation needs to be monitored very carefully especially if Milan do not sign Olivier Giroud from Chelsea. It would be a low-cost operation and much will depend on Dzeko’s will: if the striker decides to leave Rome then Milan could seriously sink the blow.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s situation must also be considered as the Swede will undergo a new check in a few days to understand the condition of his knee. If it were decided that an operation is needed then Milan would need two strikers, not just one.
