Mediaset: Premier League club make contact with Milan for Musah – the details

Yunus Musah’s situation with AC Milan has really broken down in the past 12 months. So, an exit looks likely this summer.

It is not a case of toxicity with Milan and Musah, far from it, really. Rather, the American midfielder has not shown any movement towards his potential and the Rossoneri want to cash in whilst there is still value in him.

Napoli, earlier this month, seemed the primary option, and they still may be. However, the situation of Zambo-Anguissa makes his arrival difficult. So, others are joining the race.

Moving for Musah

In England, there is a market for the midfielder, which is what the Rossoneri have been banking on. Today, as SportMediaset write, via Milan News, it is West Ham United who have emerged as another potential destination for him.

The American will not be a new name, considering he grew up in the Arsenal ranks and played for the England youth teams. So, a move back to more familiar settings could be ideal for him to return towards his potential.

What is certain, though, is that he will probably not be utilised by Massimiliano Allegri next season. So, a departure is more likely than his chances of staying.

  1. West Ham has a lot of money. English clubs can spend a lot on money on average players.
Give them an opening for 60 million Euros lol.

    1. We all pray and hope that all this selling leads to purchasing, could end up with all €70m from
Musah and Theo, we should be looking at a transfer kitty of close to €200m, once we get all the deadwood out then 4 – 5 big players, streamlined squad,Allegri pragmatism at the helm should mean SUCCESS!!!

      1. 4-5 big players? Maybe good players, but other than Modric, we are not being linked to many “big” players. In fact are we truly buying significant upgrades? the current links seem to be treading water as opposed to improving the team.

  2. Furlani should just say YES to 30m and not play hard ball. Musa is not some of a start player. Even 25m from Napoli should have been accepted or else the player refused the destination

    1. What the hell did we ever sign Musah for I have sat and watched him I can’t work him out he’ runs around like a headless chicken. Let’s get rid of him and the rest of the crap. Let’s get back to the old milan they were what you call footballers.

    2. You need to stop believing that Conte can work miracles. If he could, his teams would be successful in Europe and win league titles when they had two games a week.

  3. I’d sell him to West Ham even for 15M€.
We shouldn’t try to play it hard, teams KNOW that we want to offload players and that we’re desperate for money while players like Musah or better are a dime a dozen.
Plus by selling him to West Ham we won’t be selling to a serie A rival (if we can ourselves rivals to Napoli currently that is) which means if somehow out of 14,000,605 possible timelines we turn out to be in the one where Musah can become a good player, at least we won’t regret letting go of him.

  4. He is fast , loyal and impressive player , we got crap seas 24- 25 difficult and so exhausting one to our best players ever, missordination, lack of mood at first of lackness

Rejinders , Theo and loans must be enough to club getting pole positioned next two seas at one breathe keepin Leao, Jimenez, Chucky, Gabbia , Felix, Mike , Pulisic and evryone else and must bet at Camarda, Luka Pelegrini probably Ricci we need consistent , fresh and working team core team with not much changes at least for 7 months with clearly strategy plan and first team names
    I M O

    1. Impressive? Well, kind of in his own way. It’s impressive how awful and completely useless one can be.

  5. He’s a bum, who cares, sell him to our rivals so they’re cursed with this donkey. Who in their right mind would ever pay 30mill for this headless chicken?
