Everton have joined AC Milan in the race for Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today (via Milan News), Milan will have to try and convince the English defender to choose a move abroad rather than a chance to remain in the Premier League.
Milan emerged as a possible destination for Tanganga last week and they would like to sign the defender on a loan deal.
That could be an issue for them because Everton have emerged as a club that Spurs could sell the defender to on a permanent deal.
The 23-year-old centre-back did not kick on in the way that many had hoped under Nuno Espirito Santo or Antonio Conte. He was first brought into the Tottenham first team when Roma boss Jose Mourinho was the coach.
Milan are in need of another defender to add depth to their backline.
Who cares.
