AC Milan may face a battle to keep Pierre Kalulu as the defender is being closely watched by Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report from France.
According to a report from MediaFoot, PSG are still chasing a new centre-back after failing to get any of their targets in the summer and they are expected to make a fresh attempt to get Milan Skriniar from Inter.
If they do not get him though it could be double bad news for Milan as the report states that the Ligue 1 champions would then turn their attentions to Kalulu, who of course joined the Rossoneri from Lyon in the summer of 2020.
At 22 years of age there is no doubting the immense potential that Kalulu has, and he is linked to Milan until June 2025, but the Milan management are aware of his rising stock and are planning to renew his contract.
In the meantime, Kalulu is now being tracked by Luis Campos personally and his team of scouts. PSG know that the Skriniar situation could become difficult if he extends with Inter, and as such they must consider alternatives.
This may be why we’re seeing rumors about Kiwior. They may opt to sell Kalulu for massive profit (remember he only cost around 500k) in the 30-40m range.
Doesnt matter what is buying price was.. our asking price should be 80 mil at the least if not more. Otherwise PSG can go s*ck their arab owner’s D*ick to blow out more money. Remember.. maguire was 82 mil lol
If I may offer an alternative view… Like with Leao and his agent making stuff up to put pressure on the club while they are negotiating new contract, Kalulu’s agent may be pulling stuff out of his own behind to get the same effect.
Take all the “this or that club interested in our player” rumors while they are in new contract negotiations with a grain or maybe few trillion grains of salt.
Actually spot on, this is typical agent spin to get that little bit extra, Chelsea want leao, Liverpool want bennacer and now psg want kalulu. Sucks for us fans to hear this stuff but it’s all part of the game, hope the new owners can get these contracts renewed as it would be a statement of intent for what they are gonna do with the club.
I think interest in Kalulu is quite solid. Not just PSG, there’s interest from Mancity as well, but they are still in the scouting phase from what I have heard through a friend who works for Mancity, its nothing serious… yet.
Kalulu is an exceptional defender. Good at tackling, fast, moves forward, able to dribble out of tough situation, can deliver pinpoint crosses and long passes… those qualities are hard to find even with Money.
