CorSera: PSG’s persistent stalling an ally for Milan in Renato Sanches chase

By Oliver Fisher -

As the days tick by, Renato Sanches is reportedly no closer to knowing what his next club will be ahead of the new season.

According to Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), the future of Lille midfielder continues to be very uncertain but one thing is for sure: he will be at either AC Milan or Paris Saint-Germain in the 2022-23 campaign, as Lille’s president confirmed.

PSG are a very welcome destination for the 24-year-old former Bayern Munich man as he would reunite with Luis Campos and Christophe Galtier again, who were the sporting director and head coach of Lille respectively when they won the Ligue 1 title in 2020-21.

However, the Parisians are continuing to stall on actually negotiating with Lille and aiming to agree a fee for Sanches, whose deal expires in 2023. Milan are waiting for him, and the passing of time is certainly an ‘ally’ of the Rossoneri who remain at the window, optimistic that he will soon grow tired of waiting.

  1. Milan are making the same mistake with Renato Sanches as Leeds with CDK. The player seems to want to move to PSG. Fine. Point taken, let’s move on now

    1. Big difference between the 2.
If Milan fails to get CDK then he will just stay in Brugge. The club doesn’t want to sell him , nor needs to sell him. They have a long contract with the player and they are only negotiating with Milan because of the players will.
Renato Sanches is getting sold this summer . He has 1 year left on the contract and Lille needs the money

  2. This really angers me.

Milans market as current champions is disgusting! juve, inter and Roma have made some big important signings while us the current champions have done nothing besides lose kessie!

we as supporters should be ashamed of this. since the end of the season we have had every name under the sun linked to AC as far as even suarez linked to us but nothing has come from it.

i am disgusted as a supporter, i have always been a messara and maldini fan but after this transfer season I’m shocked. they stalled all transfers because their contracts were more important. we lost out on big names, we allowed dybala to go to rome, botman to go to new castle sanches will land up at PSG CDK will land up at leeds, we dont have a strong RW we dont have a good midfielder to create and finish and we dont have a good CB or any helping players in each position.

this will be a very tough year ahead for milan if they carry on like this and im shocked

    1. Sanchez wants to come to Milan but why will Milan offer him 3.2m? That’s poor, considering the level of Sanchez, dude single handed bullied a Milan midfeild that had kessie in it……this stingy style of mecarto Milan is running is childish and to do this with a brand like Milan is just disgraceful, PSG want to pay him 4m to 4.5m, so how will bensag no to that, these players are humans.

Sanchez in this team will worth 100m in a season, this Milan team needs Sanchez now more than Sanchez need them, pobega and krunic can not support tonali and benaccee, let’s stop deceiving ourselves, we need Sanchez….pay the dude at least 3.5m to 4m.

All these slow, painful, childish Milan mecarto is tiring
