Christian Pulisic has admitted that the severity of his fever had him doubting his availability, but he ended up being AC Milan’s match-winner again.

The comeback was sparked by a bit of magic from Adrien Rabiot, who put a 25-yarder into the top corner in the 24th minute. Then it was the Pulisic show as he came off the bench, netting the equaliser within 60 seconds before netting the winner with 13 minutes to go.
‘I was truly dead’
Pulisic collected the Player of the Match award from Lega Serie A and then made his way over to speak to DAZN and Sky to reflect on the comeback, with his post-match assessments coming via MilanNews.
From a fever of 39 degrees to a brace…
“Two days ago I was truly dead, today I felt much better. I’m happy to have come here to help the team.”

“Yesterday we didn’t know if I could play, but this morning I felt much better. I’m happy with the goals, but the important thing was to win the match.”
