Adrien Rabiot’s move to AC Milan was perhaps the biggest one of the season, and the Frenchman has been indescribably vital to Massimiliano Allegri.
During the summer, Allegri campaigned for Rabiot. Even if he said that nothing was happening, talks were ongoing across the mercato, and when he got the chance to sign his former midfielder, he did not hesitate.
Indeed, the Italian made his move, and since then, no one has looked back. The Frenchman is, perhaps, the key to this season’s improvement, and his importance does not need to be sought much to see.
Rabiot’s importance in numbers
At the weekend, he scored his fifth Serie A goal of the season, critical to his side picking up three points. His return to the team also showed that, when he plays, the Rossoneri are simply much better.
As MilanNews reports, with him in the side, they have collected 2.38 points per game, a title-winning average. Indeed, this is a better collection rate than Inter have this season, showing that he may be the key.
If it needed any further proof, without Rabiot, Allegri’s side have only averaged 1.4 points per game, which would be 53 points across the season. In other words, without him, this season may not have been too different to last.

Again, Thank you Jonathan Rowe.
Player of the Season, 2025-26. The CL qualification belongs to him. No Rabiot, no party.
Like I said, Milan’s MVP this season.
We should sell Jashari and Ricci and back Tonali or Rijnders
I prefer fewer, more targeted and proven signings as well. we gambled money on too many average players who are liabilities.
Pippo seriously I don’t think ur head is truly correct with this statement of urs!!
