GdS: RedBird see Milan’s brand like the New York Yankees – their plan for the club

AC Milan are looking more and more likely to be sold to RedBird Capital and they already have a plan in mind for the future of the club, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) dedicates a section to the plans of Milan’s probable new owners titled: “A climb to Europe. RedBird’s plan: a great name and the Milan brand in the Yankees style.”

The now imminent change of ownership and the closing of the negotiations with Elliott – who will remain with a minority stake – continues to attract a lot of media attention, but RedBird certainly seem ambitious in their plans for the Rossoneri.

The American fund are aiming to raise Milan’s level in Europe and they see the club as having a historic and prestigious brand known the world over like the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball.

They will continue on the path already traced by the Singer family, so there will be no crazy expenses, but they are ready to announce themselves with a big purchase.

    1. Americans wants to run football club, like baseball team. That will be interesting to see. Ameracan soccer and European football are very, very different. But, I still do not understand: how they can own two clubs (Toulouse and Milan) and have invested money in third?
