Relevo: Milan to accelerate pursuit of €30m-rated Villarreal star next week

AC Milan are planning on using the proceeds from Sandro Tonali’s sale to try and secure the signing of Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze, a report claims.

According to the latest update from Matteo Moretto for Relevo, Milan will try to intensify contacts for Chukwueze next week, whose contract with Villarreal expires in 2024 and there are no signs of a renewal at present.

Following the sale of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle, the Rossoneri have placed the Nigerian winger at the top of their wish list and will try to reach an agreement with Fernando Roig’s side, as per the journalist.

The operation would cost around €30m despite the fact he has just a year left on his deal. There is one extra factor that Milan must consider when building their squad for next season: Chukwueze has a non-EU passport meaning he would take up one of the remaining two slots available.

    1. You’re joking if u say he’s not on the level. He’s a top player who I would wish to have here but the real question is him or guler. Imo guler is great but at 18 it can also be a gamble

        1. I agree both of those players would be great aquisitions in my view but we’ll see as this summer hasnt exactly started out well to say the least.

          1. I would like to have all kamada, guler and Chukwueze, the problem that would arise would be the fact that buying both guler and Chukwueze would be spending money that we need on a ST and 2 midfielders

          2. Sure it would offer some new issues but both would be great transfers nevertheless but at this point i suspect other players will be sold for “big” bucks.
