Reliable journalist confirms Milan’s intention to use €28m clause and sign Chelsea defender

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan seem to have already made the decision to sign Fikayo Tomori on a permanent basis from Chelsea, according to one journalist.

Tomori arrived on loan with a €28m option to buy in the January transfer window and now has 12 appearances across all competitions to his name since joining, continuing to impress with each game that passes.

There has been an abundance of speculation regarding whether Milan will use the option that they pre-agreed with the Premier League side, given that it is not exactly an insignificant figure, but it is looking more and more like a wise economic decision given his age and potential.

According to what is being reported by Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews, Milan are going to use their option to buy Tomori outright. He adds that negotiations will go live in a few weeks but there is great satisfaction regarding the defender on loan from Chelsea.
