With just over a week until the Ligue 1 season kicks off, Renato Sanches is still unsure which club he will be playing for in 2022-23 and beyond.
Sanches remains at the centre of a lot of media attention because while the Lille midfielder is ready to change the air, he does not yet know his destination despite club president Olivier Letang confirming he will either stay in France and go to Paris Saint-Germain or try a new adventure in Italy with Milan.
Calciomercato.com describes Sanches as being at a crossroads that could undergo ‘an acceleration in one of two directions at any moment’. Milan and PSG have presented different offers, with the Ligue 1 champions having a bid of €10m rejected while the Rossoneri’s bid of €10m plus €5m in bonuses was considered ‘more appropriate’.
Milan are currently focused on finally signing Charles De Ketelaere but they have not lost sight of Sanches and are waiting for signals, even if personal terms must yet be agreed with Jorge Mendes and the player, who very close to PSG’s sporting director Luis Campos. Time is running out.
Let him go to PSG , no need to sign player that dont want AC Milan or making AC Milan just for back up

Mendez is just holding Milan up there was no bid for him from PSG we know if psg wanted him by now he would have been a psg player at least PSG has the money to pay a 15million player. If he was really consider but they want the best contract from Milan but Milan knowing the game they wanna play MM are determined not to go beyond the offers on the table. Mendez should swallow his pride Sanchez is injury prone no right thinking club will pay better than Milan. The best contract is from Milan because they believe in his potential. Bayern splash crazy amount on him he was a flow he tried England the same so if he love his career he should choose Milan because Milan will give him the chance to be both seen and will be able to express himself at least the competition for that role isnt high. But if he is proving too good Carney chukwuemeka will also be a good signing
Exactly. PSG is a smokescreen to try and get Milan to offer better wages. They should stand firm.
I think Sanches is THE party that will lose here if he goes to PSG instead of Milan. In Milan he has a decent salary and an important role to play. Elsewhere? Well… Only PSG has shown interest IF the rumors are even true. And there he will be on the bench.
I don’t care if he comes or not. Milan have decent plan Bs. And if CDK & Ziyech comes, we don’t even need another midfielder as we’ve got Adli & Pobega too now. And I’m 100% sure Adli would be faaaar more important player in this team than Sanches anyway.
At this stage i think we better off going for Carney Chukwuemeka a younger player with huge potential……also if we managed to sign renato he will just wait on his contract to end just to leave us on a free transfer
I never feel Milan really interested with this guy. Pretty much it’s just his agent who sold false stories to the media to pressure Milan increase their bid but so far Maldini didn’t bite those bait.
