Report: Renato Sanches remains Milan’s No.1 midfield target – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan remain determined to sign Renato Sanches from Lille despite speculation going quiet recently, according to one journalist.

The midfield department is set for some changes this summer with Tommaso Pobega and Yacine Adli coming back from their respective loans but Franck Kessie going out of the exit door towards Barcelona, so a replacement of quality must be found.

According to what Nicò Schira reports, Milan’s plan regarding Renato Sanches has not changed and he remains the number one target to replace Kessie and bolster the options in the middle of the park.

The valuation set by Lille is only €18-20m which is a figure Milan would happily pay but the problem that has emerged in recent months is the salary that the Portuguese international is asking for. In this sense, talks with agent Jorge Mendes are ongoing to try to reach an agreement over personal terms.

  1. I do believe if we can get Kamara who will cost us nothing will be better.im not sure we will get value for money if Sanchez can’t stay fit.
