Report: AC Milan and Roma interested in signing Old Firm hero from Rangers

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Roma are both interested in the idea of signing Rangers full-back Borna Barisic in January, according to a report.

Barisic has been in good form for the Glasgow side so far this season, amassing 13 assists in all competitions including two in Sunday’s win over Celtic, their first Old Firm win away from home in the league since 2010.

Now, the 27-year-old is attracting interest from a number of clubs after redeeming a disappointing 2018-19 campaign, and Calciomercato.it have offered an update on his future.

They claim that Premier League sides are monitoring the former Dinamo Zagreb left-back, however in Serie A it is Milan and Roma who are also keeping an eye on proceedings.

He is touted as a possible deputy to Theo Hernandez and as a replacement for Ricardo Rodriguez, who looks set to depart Milan after two-and-a-half years at the club amid links with Napoli, Fenerbahce and Watford.
