Report: AC Milan joined by Spurs and Sevilla in pursuit of €30m-rated Poland star

AC Milan face competition from a number of top European clubs for the signing of Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, according to a report.

It was claimed by SportMediaset earlier on Wednesday that Milan are preparing for life without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is set to leave the club once the current season is over.

With the Rossoneri in need of a new No.9 they have apparently turned to Napoli’s Milik, who is on a deal which expires at the end of next season. It was reported that the club have already opened talks with the agent of the Poland international, with a valuation of €35m set.

According to the latest from Mundo Deportivo – as cited by Calciomercato.com – there are several clubs interested in signing the former Ajax striker.

Milan have been joined by Premier League duo Tottenham and Everton in pursuit of the 26-year-old, while Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are also in the hunt.

The Spanish outlet reports a slightly lower asking price, suggesting that Aurelio De Laurentiis is demanding at least €30m, and in the event of Milik’s farewell Napoli will apparently attempt the ambitious signing of Ciro Immobile.
