Report: Ancelotti eyes raid on former club Milan as Everton join PSG, Spurs in €35m striker race

By Oliver Fisher -

Premier League side Everton have now joined the hunt to sign AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek this month, according to the latest reports from England.

The Poland international continues to be repeatedly linked with an exit in January having fallen out of favour with the Rossoneri.

Polish journalist Piotr Kozminski of the ‘Daily Super Express’ confirmed his belief that Piatek should leave this month, and that a move to England is most likely with Spurs leading the chase for the €35m man.

Then, L’Equipe (via MilanNews.it) reported PSG are beginning to seek out potential replacements for Cavani after it was announced by sporting director Leonardo that he will be leaving the club, with Piatek one of the options.

According to reports from Sunday Mirror (via Sportslens), Everton have joined the race to sign the 24-year-old striker as Carlo Ancelotti looks to bolster his attack with a raid on his former club.

Cenk Tosun left for Crystal Palace earlier in the month and the Toffees have identified Piatek as a potential option to replace him, though he is valued at around £30m (€35m).
