Report: Halilovic wants to cut short loan spell in Belgium

AC Milan midfielder Alen Halilovic reportedly wants to terminate his loan spell at Standard Liege in favour of a move elsewhere.

The former Barcelona midfielder made just three appearances for Milan since joining the club in the summer from Hamburger SV. 

All of those came in the Europa League as the the 22-year-old struggled to force his way into the club’s plans.

Halilovic joined Standard Liege in January of this year on an 18-month loan and he went on to make 14 appearances for the Belgian side between then and the end of the season.

However, according to La Derniere Heure, the Croatia international wants to cut short his loan spell leave his current side and possibly move to Portugal, where he is believed to have admirers.
