AC Milan and two of their Serie A rivals are interested in Empoli regista Samuele Ricci, according to a report.
The Rossoneri have been repeatedly linked with a move for Ricci, as they look to complete their midfield department by signing a fourth player who can play a deeper role, with doubts over whether Rade Krunic will be suitable moving forward.
According to SerieBNews, three Serie A clubs are all keen on signing the 19-year-old, who made 30 appearances for Empoli during his breakthrough season and showed more than just flashes of what he can do.
Napoli are mentioned as being ‘especially interested’, and they have historically good relations with the Serie B side. They made an offer during the most recent summer window, but the will of Empoli was very clear: Ricci does not move, at least not until the end of the season.
Milan and Fiorentina are among the teams to have shown a ‘concrete interest’. Tthey have never stopped following the Italy U21 international and have expressed their admiration both to his entourage and to Empoli.
