AC Milan are in talks with the entourage of Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, a report claims, but they face fierce competition to land him.
That is according to FCInterNews, who are reporting that Pellegrini could leave the Italian capital this summer as he is no closer to agreeing a contract renewal with the Giallorossi.
The report adds that ‘disputes could drive Pellegrini away’ in the direction of either Milano or London. Arsenal have been monitoring him for some time, while the player’s representatives are now examining possible destinations and have opened talks with both Milan and Inter.
The Rossoneri are looking for reinforcement in the middle of the park and are vigilant regarding the situation, while FCInterNews adds that Pellegrini is available for €30million due to a release clause in his contract, which would be payable in two instalments of €15m.
The 23-year-old has made 24 appearances across all competitions for Roma this season, amassing three goals and 11 assists playing as both a central midfielder and a playmaker.
