Report: Milan joined by Real Madrid in pursuit of 21-year-old already valued at €60m

By Oliver Fisher -

Real Madrid have emerged as a contender in the race to land striker Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina, according to a report.

It is now no secret that Milan are in the market for a new striker to compliment Zlatan Ibrahimovic – who recently signed a new one-year extension – and Vlahovic’s name is one that is being increasingly linked.

The 21-year-old already 19 goals in the current Serie A season and added to his impressive tally during yesterday’s game against Bologna, but according to FiorentinaNews (via MilanNews) Vlahovic now has a very high valuation as a result of his exploits.

La Viola have set the asking price at €60m and the hurdles for Milan do not stop there, because in addition to the Rossoneri  Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid are also in the running to land the Serbia international. Los Blancos represent a fierce competitor for Milan, who – if they really want the player – will have to make an extra effort.

  1. I really dont know why this story keeps popping up as everybody with the slightest sense knows milan wont pay 60 or even 50 mil for vlahovic and that is even in case of cl qualification as fiorentina really isnt in a position where the need to negotiate if a lot of big clubs has set their eyes on the player. Great potential though and would love him to join us but asuming we qualify for cl we certainly wont spend the majority of cash on one player. Belotti on the other hand seems like an affordable player if he makes it clear to the torino board that he wont renew. He would also be the safest bet of the two as he has been consistantly perfoming for years for an inconsistant team.
