AC Milan have made an enquiry about Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumaré, it is claimed, amid interest in the player from the Premier League.
It is no secret that Milan are in the market for midfield reinforcements this summer as Lucas Biglia departed after his contract expired at the end of last season.
While Tiemoue Bakayoko is the name that appears to be closest to joining, another new name has cropped up as being a potential target for Milan, joining the other links such as Florentino Luis and Marc Roca.
According to French journalist Manu Lonjon, Milan have joined Premier League duo Manchester United and Arsenal in making an enquiry about Soumaré, who is a France U21 international.
AS also reported earlier on Monday that Real Madrid have joined the hunt for the 21-year-old, who made 20 appearances in Ligue 1 for Lille last season before the suspension of the league due to COVID-19.
