Report: Milan to focus on medical and athletic staff after worrying number of injuries

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are going to be taking a serious look at the medical and athletic staff at the club ahead of next season as there is concern about the fitness of the whole team, a report claims.

According to Milan Live journalist Pasquale La Ragione on Twitter, the Rossoneri are far from impressed by the number of injuries that they have had to deal during the season, as well as the general fitness levels of the team.

They feel that for the past three years there have been too many injuries among the players and the lack of energy and fitness was clear against Inter on Tuesday night as the Rossoneri were knocked out of the Champions League.

The most costly muscle injury for Milan has been Rafael Leao’s abductor injury against Lazio which kept him out of the Champions League semi-final first leg against Inter and the Serie A game against Spezia.

    1. Money happened. Or actually the lack of it. The guy leading the project left almost 2 decades ago and after that it went downhills. And fast.

  3. GOOD MORNING!!!

I think over the last 3 years, every single year, we were the team with the most injuries in the top leagues from all over europe!
