Report: Milan to battle Napoli and Spurs for signing of Spain striker with €60m clause

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are ready to challenge Napoli for the signing of exciting Spanish forward Loren Moron, according to the latest reports from Spain.

The Real Betis striker has netted nine LaLiga goals this season and has amassed two assists as well in 26 appearances, and is beginning to be linked with a number of top clubs given his impressive campaign.

La Razon (via A Bola) are suggesting that Jose Mourinho is eyeing Moron as a possible replacement for Harry Kane, who may leave Spurs this summer.

However, according to the latest from Calciomercato.com – who cite Spanish sources – the Rossoneri have also set their sights on the 27-year-old, who is believed to have a release clause of €60million.

Competition is also present from Serie A rivals Napoli, who may be set for a revolution up front given the doubts over the futures of Dries Mertens and Fernando Llorente.

Meanwhile, a report on sportsfinding claims that Moron has been scouted by a number of sides from England and Italy already this term, implying competition could be high.
