The AC Milan management are set to meet with the agent of full-back Andrea Conti to confirm their desire to keep him, a report claims.
The Rossoneri continue to be linked with a move for a new right-back this summer by various media outlets as both Conti and his team-mate Davide Calabria have failed to offer consistency to head coach Stefano Pioli.
There has been speculation that Calabria is more likely to be sold however, as his exit would generate a pure capital gain due to the fact he came through the youth sector.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, in the next few hours there will be a meeting between Milan and Conti’s agent Mario Giuffredi to take stock of the situation related to the 26-year-old.
Schira adds that Conti should stay with the Rossoneri beyond the summer despite his form and injury troubles, as Pioli appreciates his skill set and the former Atalanta man will fight for a starting place with whomever the new arrival may be.
