Report: Milan and Torino among teams interested in promising Polish left-back

By Ben Dixon -

AC Milan have their areas of immediate investment in mind, but they will also evaluate opportunities that arise throughout the mercato, and a young player from Poland has attracted the Rossoneri.

Understandably, the main focus of this mercato is righting the wrongs of last season whilst also reinforcing several areas of the squad which are weak or have been weakened due to departures. However, Milan cannot just focus on these areas and must have a keen eye on the future as well.

Looking at the Primavera ranks, there is a host of young talent that are fantastic, and these players are constantly being added to due to future investments, such as Alex Jimenez, whose loan move was made permanent at the start of the summer window.

It does not stop there, though, and the club are planning to add more youthful talent to their ranks. According to Polish news outlet Meczyki, the Diavolo are interested in Wisla Krakow youngster Jakub Krzyzanowski.

The left-back has been a target of Bologna for some time, and the report suggests that Milan and Torino have also enquired about the youngster, with the Rossoneri seeing him as a player for the youth ranks.

It is reported that a deal will cost at least €500k, and it would also include a percentage of the next deal, but whether that would be a percentage of the whole deal or the profit is not specified.
