Napoli have also emerged as contenders to land Dinamo Zagreb star Dani Olmo, a report claims, amid links with a move to AC Milan.
It was reported by the Manchester Evening News (via MilanNews.it) tat both Manchester City and Manchester United are ready to go head to head in January to try and sign the winger.
Olmo has eight goals in 20 appearances this season so far and helped Spain win the U21 European Championships over the summer, leading to links with a number of top clubs.
The 21-year-old has admirers in Italy too, as the MilanNews report claims that the Rossoneri and Atalanta are both monitoring the player, who has a value of up to €30million.
According to il Mattino though – as cited by MilanNews.it – Gennaro Gattuso may look to strike a blow on his former club as Napoli are also in the race for Olmo.
The report states that Dinamo ‘have a queue’ waiting for the starlet.
