Report: Polish talent convinced by Milan despite late Sporting attempt

Polish youngster Mateusz Skoczylas is set to sign for AC Milan despite the very serious interest from Sporting late in the negotiation, a report claims.

As reported by Tomasz Wlodarczyk in Poland (via Milan Eye), the Zagłębie Lubin chose Milan and has already undergone his medical ahead of the move being officially announced.

The deal is costing Milan just €1m but there is also a resale percentage that will go to the Polish club should he be moved on in the future by Milan.

Sporing made a late attempt to try and convince Skoczylas to join them instead, but he was already convinced by Milan’s proposal and opted to see the move through.

Skoczylas is just 16 years old so the attacking midfielder is certainly one for the future who will go into the academy setup straight away.

Milan will hope that he can become a star for the future or can at least be sold for a profit in a few years.
