Report: Torino in his sights – Pulisic trains separately from the squad after knock

AC Milan were without Christian Pulisic against Monza in the Silvio Berlusconi trophy, but he should be back for the weekend’s fixture against Torino, a report has stated.

Pulisic was the standout player for Milan last year, and he will be hoping to build on his best-ever campaign with another fantastic season in Serie A and the Champions League, and he will be, quite literally, central to Paulo Fonseca’s plans.

With Samuel Chukwueze’s pre-season form, the American is in line to play as the Trequartista this season, allowing him more creative freedom, and with successes already showing in the position, he could take his performances to new levels this season.

With that in mind, it is nice to start on the right foot, and after missing the pre-season game against Monza on Tuesday night, there may have been some doubts about whether he would be able to feature this weekend.

However, a report from pazzidifanta.com (via PianetaMilan) has stated that his absence was precautionary after he took a knock, and he should be back for the first Serie A fixture with no issues. Whilst he trained separately from the group at Milanello today, he will rejoin group training tomorrow easing all worries.
