Reports: Bordeaux leave midfielder out to avoid injury – personal terms agreed with Milan

Bordeaux have indeed put Yacine Adli on the bench for their second league game of the season against Marseille amid intense links with Milan.

L’Equipe (via MilanNews) reported earlier today that Adli could start from the bench for tonight’s match against Marseille. The 21-year-old midfielder is now close to moving to the Rossoneri, with the Gironde club now in ‘advanced contacts’ with the Milan management over a deal.

As Canal+ reports (via MilanNews), the line-ups for the game have been released and Adli is indeed on the bench, where he could remain for the whole match. The French club want to keep him away from a possibly injury since they are in talks with Milan.

Meanwhile, Nicolo Schira writes that the news is ‘a signal about his sale’ as Milan are pushing to close the deal and the midfielder has already agreed personal terms with Rossoneri over a contract until 2025 plus an option for another year.

Niccolo Ceccarini also confirms that the talks are advanced and the parties are working to close the deal quickly.
