It appears that for the time being Junior Firpo is not close to completing a move to AC Milan from Barcelona, reports claim.
Just as it seemed as though the operation was intensifying and heading towards a possible conclusion, several recent reports have suggested that there is no chance of Firpo moving to Milan this month as things stand.
Our correspondent Pietro Balzano Prota is reporting how for now Milan are standing still and there does not seem to be the will to go any further. The operation has stopped, and we must see if it reopens or there are evolutions.
According to MilanNews, there was a sudden slowdown in talks linked to personal issues of the player, not because of problems between the two clubs.
It seems for now then that Milan will have to focus on alternative targets, some of which we revealed earlier in the week.
